Fender’s “last” tweed amp. This amp is very similar to the tweed vibrolux. There is a little difference in the tremolo circuit and the 5f11 has the three input style of the harvard 5f10. The PI resistor is lowered from 1.5k to 1K for the 6g2 to increase voltage swing (i think).
Also the schematic values of the 6g2 is probably not correct. Most people seem to get around 380V plate at idle with a vintage 5y3 rectifier..
I have one of these beauties and have to say it’s one of the best sounding club and recording amps I’ve ever played. It’s put my tweed deluxe on the back burner.
I have a near mint ’63 Princeton, and have had a custom matching 1×10″ extension cab built for it. I run a Weber 16 ohm speaker in the amp, and a JBL K110 16 ohm in the extension cab, to get two contrasting tones. Sounds fantastic! No more speaker fart-out………..YAY!
