Some early Wide Panel Bandmaster’s had a bottom mounted chassis and a top-mounted control panel. All features of it’s predecessor, the TV front Bassman amp.
Hello,
I have a ’55 wide panel Bandmaster (5D7, March of ’55) that is stock and original and I intend to do a schematic of it for the benefit of the many who may follow me. I am an engineer, and have 45 years of working on amps (fender/mesa). I will start with the wide-panel Pro schematic you have and discover any differences which must be very minor (tone control for example). I will need a mail-to address for the results of this. If you know of a more appropriate site to publish this schematic then please send it.
thank you,
-Doug Austin
Hello Doug, thank you very much for sharing information about your 5D7 Band-Master. I own a 5C3 Band-Master that has been “modded” by some previous owner. I could not find a schematic for the 5C3 but I think I could figure out the schematic by looking at other C3 circuits. Still I am not absolutely sure. Would be great if you had a schematic for the 5D7 – this would help a lot. Thank you very much, best regards, max
