This amplifier is only a 12 watt unit .
In 1978 , they were using a 70uf on the filter cap going to the power tubes pin #4

They are 12 watts not 26 but change the power transformer  to a 300 watt one from a 250 watt one and put in a better out put transformer and change the input circuit and add a Eminence High DB speaker of your choice and these amps honk

Since I changed out the transformers and did a cap job and put in the High DB eminence Tonker Speaker this amp is giggable. I played in a loud 4 piece band and i and the band could hear my amp on stage just fine.AND it was hardly turned on volume wise. I would guess it is easily putting out at least 22 watts if not a bit more.

One notable thing about this amp….the PI was actually an audio transformer rather than a tube inverter. Something you don’t see every day….

This was my first amp. Because it was only 12 Watts, you could max out the volume and get a nice overdrive without it being really loud. Sadly, I loaned it to a friend, and his sister’s boyfriend swiped it. There’s one on ebay now listed for $595.

Cool little amp for recording guitar. Gets a nice distortion at a reasonable volume. I’ve seen quite a few recently on Reverb and eBay, selling south of $500.

My 1979 Musicmaster Bass Amp Honks for harmonica. Went to JJ 6V6’s, and a speaker change to an.eminece coded Fender Ceramic Speaker. Thats all.

Earlier units had different knobs. Mine does and it’s from ’74.
